The Department of Civil Protection announces that work will resume on Monday, June 22, to carry out interventions in various areas of the municipal territory in collaboration with the Agricultural Development Agency. Councilor Giovanni Iacono states: "The work had been suspended due to the unavailability of agricultural vehicles by the ESA. In the meantime, we have further expanded the fire prevention action plan, which this year doubled the number of sites from 39 to 74. This plan includes municipal areas in Marina di Ragusa, and we will begin with those areas on Monday. I would like to point out that before 2025, the vast majority of the areas targeted for intervention had been inaccessible for decades."
