The Department of Public Parks and Gardens informs that the restoration and redevelopment of the sidewalk and road surface in Piazza Benedetto Croce has been completed. As previously announced in the press release issued by this department, before starting the work (press release no. 154 of April 8, 2026), five (5) 'Prunus pissardi nigra' trees were planted—with the distances required by the greenery regulations approved in 2022—to replace the two (2) pine trees that were not aligned and whose roots had caused the sidewalk and adjacent roadway to rise, posing a potential public safety hazard. Attached are photos of the condition of the removed pine trees and the trees planted today.
