Organized by ASD Corpo in Movimento with the patronage of the Municipality of Ragusa, the event will take place on Sunday, June 21st, starting from Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi. Athletes and participants will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the same square to pick up their race bibs.
The 12km route will run along the bike path and the most scenic stretches of the coastline, offering everyone the chance to enjoy the natural beauty of Marina di Ragusa. One of the distinctive features of the Stramarina 12K is the option to run or walk, allowing anyone to participate, regardless of age (only adults are eligible for the race, while the walk, being a recreational exercise, is open to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful morning of exercise). The initiative promotes a healthy and inclusive lifestyle, focusing on the value of exercise as a form of well-being and socialization. The Stramarina 12K is also open to all associations in the province who wish to join, enjoying a day of sport, fun, and fellowship.
The finish line is always scheduled in Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi, where the morning will continue with the awards ceremony and refreshments provided by the organizers, transforming the event into a community celebration, ideal for sharing the sporting spirit on the first day of the summer solstice.
